Data deletion

These instructions apply to the private Open Social installation at https://social.gravitasai.xyz, operated by Gravitas AI LLC and administered by Christopher Graves. They cover information held by this installation about connected Instagram accounts and people who interact with those accounts.

Request deletion of your information

Email chris@gravitasai.xyz with the subject Open Social data deletion request. Include your Instagram username, the connected account you interacted with, and an approximate interaction date so we can locate the relevant records. Do not send passwords, access tokens, verification codes, or unnecessary private message content.

We may request reasonable confirmation that the information belongs to you. Requests are handled manually. We will review the records associated with your request and explain completion or any limitation in our response.

A verified deletion request covers relevant information in the active workspace, including identifiable interaction and response records, and review of retained backups. Information required for applicable legal obligations, security, or honoring an opt-out may need to be retained. We will explain any such limitation when responding.

Stop future automated replies

Send STOP as a direct message to the connected Instagram account. This suppresses this application's automated replies to you for that account. It does not delete earlier records or prevent the account from receiving messages.

Revoke an Instagram connection

If you own the connected Instagram account, open Instagram's Apps and websites settings and remove Open Social-IG. This revokes platform access. Previously stored Open Social activity is not automatically erased; email the privacy contact to request its deletion.

Disconnecting an account inside Open Social clears the application's stored access tokens and pauses its automations. It does not automatically delete activity history.

Backups and Instagram copies

Deleting active workspace records does not rewrite existing encrypted backup files. Requests also require reviewing retained backups and ensuring that a later restore does not reintroduce information that should remain deleted. Copies of comments and messages already delivered to Instagram or other recipients are managed separately; removing Open Social records does not remove those copies.
